This guide provides platform-specific instructions for installing AVIV ScoutRoute on Android and iOS devices.

TDEI Registration Options⚓︎

There are two ways to register for a TDEI account:

Standard Registration: Visit portal.tdei.us/register and enter the requested information. After registering, contact your project's point of contact to be added to a project group.

For additional details, refer to the TDEI Portal > User Manual > Account Registration page if needed.

Referral Code Registration: If you received a referral code (e.g., portal.tdei.us/register?code=AA-BBB-CCCC-DD) or a QR code, use that link to register. This automatically adds you to the appropriate project group so that the right workspaces show up - no additional steps needed.

Event Participants

If you're participating in a mapping event, you likely received a QR code to scan or a referral link.

Use that link to register for the fastest, most streamlined setup experience.

Install AVIV ScoutRoute⚓︎

Select your device type below for installation instructions:

Step 1. Accept the Tester Invitation⚓︎

If you have received an email invite or direct link from either your project's point of contact or the developer team, use that link.

Otherwise, external (non-TCAT) users should use this invite link: appdistribution.firebase.dev/i/63d3d906e42fb64d

  1. On your mobile device, open the link in your browser

  2. Sign in with your Google Account (must match the invite email)

  3. Select Accept Invitation to join the tester group

Step 2. Install Firebase App Tester⚓︎

  1. Download the Firebase App Tester application from the email sent after accepting the invite, or navigate to appdistribution.firebase.google.com

  2. Install Firebase App Tester

  3. Open the app

  4. Sign in with the same Google Account used above

  5. A list of available apps will be displayed

Step 3. Download AVIV ScoutRoute⚓︎

  1. In the App Tester app, find AVIV ScoutRoute under "My Apps"

  2. Select Download to install

  3. Follow any on-screen instructions and grant the necessary permissions

Step 4. Login⚓︎

Login to the AVIV ScoutRoute mobile application using your TDEI Account.

Step 5. Join Your Project Group⚓︎

If you registered with a referral code, you're already set up - move ahead to Getting Started.

Otherwise, reach out to your project's point of contact and provide them with your name and email address. They will add you to the appropriate project group and assign your role.

Step 1: Apple Account⚓︎

Make sure you have an Apple Account (formerly called an "Apple ID"). This is the email address associated with your iPhone and all Apple services.

Step 2: Install AVIV ScoutRoute⚓︎

  1. Open AVIV ScoutRoute on the Apple App Store

  2. Select Get

  3. Select Install

  4. Select Open

Step 3: Login⚓︎

Login to the AVIV ScoutRoute mobile application using your TDEI Account.

Step 4: Join Your Project Group⚓︎

If you registered with a referral code, you're already set up - move ahead to Getting Started.

Otherwise, reach out to your project's point of contact and provide them with your name and email address. They will add you to the appropriate project group and assign your role.
